Bill Harlan, the real estate mogul turned wine empressario, and owner of Harlan Estates purchased Diamond Creek Winery back in late December from Dinesh Maniar, another real estate developer.  

Although the sum of the deal remains undisclosed, public records show that Bill Harlan will assume eight payments of $115,870.81 until the note is due, in 2021.

Mr. Harlan has been doing a bit of buying recently.  Lone Canyon vineyard from Ladera last year.  This is the time to buy property in Napa, and he’s in a wonderful spot to just sit through this recession, and act like a sniper when he feels he can make a valuable pickup.
